Wisconsin Governor Proposes Eliminating Film Tax Credit

The Tax Foundation points out that at least one governor is proposing eliminating his state's tax credit for Hollywood films.  As we have noted, tax credits for movies don't bring economic gains to the state, partly because filmmakers who take the money would have filmed here anyway.

State Sen. Pat Vance has a proposal to place a moratorium on Pennsylvania's $75 million tax credit for Hollywood films like Zack and Miri Make a Porno.
