The façade of Pennsylvania'a state budget

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review has a story on how state taxpayer funding is available for business façades.

The real façade is that the state budget is "cut to the bone," when in fact, taxpayer funds are being used for all sorts of pork projects like this.

Read Matt Brouillette's commentary on how Ed Rendell is using state workers as pawns while continuing to hand out oversized cardboard checks to golf course associations, snowmobile clubs, wine trails, and other corporate welfare.
