US Auto Sales by Manufacturer

I thought I'd post this data on US car sales (new car and light truck) by brand, since it took a while to find. The data is available at MotorIntelligence.com. Some interesting trends include that the so-called "foreign" manufacturers (I say so-called, since they often use more American parts and labor than the "Big 3") now comprise over half of all auto sales - and even higher when looking only at car sales.

I think this is useful for discussion of what would happen if the "Big 3" actually failed? Would the other 17 manufacturers increase capacity?
