Pennsylvania Is Driving Its Doctors Away

Frederic Jarrett - a Pittsburgh doctor - editorializes in the Wall Street Journal as to how Governor Rendell is pushing doctors out a Pennsylvania by holding MCare abatement (a program to help doctors pay their medical malpractice coverage) hostage to try and get his Cover All Pennsylvanians program passed.

We believe MCare is only a short term fix - Pennsylvania needs meaningful tort reform, not a slush fund for trial lawyers; but Governor Rendell hasn't been very keen on tort reform either.
