Self-Imposed Ethics Charges

In an "unprecedented move", Rep. Charlie Rangel, D-NY has filed Ethics Charges...against himself.

This was brought about after The Washington Post ran a series of articles raising questions about Rangel's involvement in fundraising for an academic center, named in his honor, at City College of New York. Fox News Story

While Rangel supposedly filed the charges with the intent of clearing his name and to "whup" The Washington Post, perhaps some of our own state lawmakers could have followed his lead, and perhaps saved Attorney General Corbett some hassle. Too late now...
