PSEA Hissy Fit

Too many public schools have a Liberace complex and feel no compunction against splurging taxpayers' hard-earned money. So kudos to the Pleasant Valley School District for trying to lowering costs by outsourcing transportation to another busing company.

Unfortunately, the PSEA, which thrives on districts' bloated budgets, is thwarting Pleasant Valley's attempts to be fiscally responsible.

Apparently it's "socially unjust" to use taxpayers' money more efficiently. Who knew?

For more information about PSEA activities check out StopTeacherStrikes.org

The Mackinac Center also has a great publication about privatizing more of the public education system.
