Smoking Bans Ain't Cool, Unless You're a Fool

The conference committee on banning private businesses' right to allow smoking in their establishments has finally reported a bill. GrassrootsPA has the news roundup.

I have written on this before, and have little to add - other than that I seem to recall a Public Service Ad as a child with a jingle "Smoking ain't cool, unless you're a fool", which apparently stuck with me (and made me a lifelong non-smoker), though YouTube offers no evidence such a PSA ever existed. While smoking still "ain't cool", neither is government mandates on private businesses - of which 80% are already voluntarily smoke free.
