Politicians and Economics

While a number of people say that many economic policy issues are "too complex" for the general public Thomas Sowell argues that for the most part these concepts - supply and demand more instance - are simple. However, supply and demand doesn't offer good villains for politicians to demonize, so they instead offer absurd "solutions", public hearings that go nowhere, and demagoguery.
