Penn Pike may require larger toll increases

More bad news on the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission - Toll Roads News reports that Fitch Ratings has downgraded the PTC's bond rating, saying that the Act 44 promises may require higher toll increases than they are promising (which are considerable - 25% in 2009 and 3% annually thereafter).

The Turnpike Commission has touted their previous Fitch rating in their news releases and toll-funded TV ad campaign.
