19th Century View of Government?

Patriot News has a blurb about our re-selling calendars for property tax relief (third item). Rendell spokeman Chuck Ardo defends the calendars (more or less) by taking a shot at us, claiming we "should keep the calendars to remind them that their 19th-century approach to government is outmoded".

I am outraged! We don't have a 19th-century approach to government. We have an 18th-century approach to government. You know, like our founding fathers intended and our Constitution authorizes (with about 27 changes).

We don't, for instance, think state government should:

I guess that is us being old-fashioned.
