Rendell-Lite alternate energy bills advance

The PA Senate keeps pushing forward alternative energy legislation, or "Rendell Lite."

One of the bills would "provide a $1 state subsidy for each gallon of biofuel, made from sobyeans or animal fat, sold by Pennsylvania producers over three years." Are you kidding me? Gas is $3/gallon, and biofuels still can't compete without a full $1/gallon subisidy.

Luckily, far right-wing conservative Sen. Musto "thinks a $1 subsidy is too high".
