Republicans oppose system benefits charge

Patriot News on PA Republican's continued opposition to a new electricity tax, but their seeming acceptance of the notion we need to pick winners and subsidize cost-savings measure. The article also points out that taxpayer-funded "rebates" for solar panels and efficient appliances would be taxed as income by the federal government. (NOTE: This likely would be taxed at the highest bracket, since the rich are much more likely to buy solar panels for their house - and get the rebates - than the poor).

Also NRO online editorializes how too many politicians are "drunk on ethanol."
