Wal-Mart Reduces Cost of Prescriptions; State Increases Costs

Wal-Mart press release indicates they saved Pennsylvania residents $18 last year on prescription drugs through their "$4 prescription drug" program.

However, state law doesn't let Wal-Mart sell their drugs at $4 in PA - we have a price floor - so Pennsylvania residents aren't saving as much as they could be, and are paying higher prices than residents of other states.

If Governor Rendell's "Prescription for Pennsylvania" wants to make health care affordable for all, shouldn't laws making prescriptions less affordable be repealed?
