Renewed push on health care planned

The Patriot News reports that Governor Rendell will continue to push his health care tax.

Meanwhile, other state legislatures are taking up free-market health care reform (often to fight off proposals for socialized medicine), including California, Missouri, and now Wisconsin. Unfortunately there has yet to be any serious alternative to RendellCare presented, other than a House Republican Working Group plan to expand HSAs, which we offered some suggestions for.

For more ideas check out the Health Care Freedom Coalition's Affordable Health Care Agenda, the Heartland Institute's Ten Principles of Health Care Policy, and our PolicyPoints on Health Care Reform.
