U.S. House votes against tolls on I-80

The US House approved an amendment to the transportation appropriation bill that would block tolling of I-80. The House has since passed the bill since Brett Lieberman broke the story, which will now go to the US Senate.

The amendment was sponsored by PA Congressmen Peterson and English (both of whose districts are served by I-80, and apparently neither of which benefits from Turnpike Commission patronage).

More on this in the morning.
