Oh yeah - the budget is higher

The agreed-to budget figure Gov. Rendell reported last night was lower. From Pennsylvania Legislative Services:

GOVERNOR ANSWERS QUESTIONS FROM THE MEDIA
By Kimberly Collins
This afternoon the Governor met with the Capitol press corps to answer questions about the budget agreement.

What is the final budget number if you count transportation?
$27.494 billion, which is a 4.5% increase. The Republicans are reporting $27.177 billion, which is the final number not including transportation, which has been removed from the budget for the next several decades.

What was the $27.369 billion number you announced last night?
That wasn’t all inclusive.

I've corrected my earlier numbers (which were low) - this now represents a 5.3% increase over what was passed last year (See Explanation of different increase numbers) and $558 over the TPA.
