Is your governor a good-time Charlie?
That is the question posed by Stephen Moore as he discusses State Spending Sprees in the Wall Street Journal. The answer, if you are reading this in the Keystone state, is unfortunately, a yes:
"There's an old adage that states can't tax and spend their way to prosperity -- a lesson that the politicians in Connecticut, Illinois, Michigan, and Pennsylvania never seem to learn."
Even worse, these spending sprees across the nation (as I learned from questions about my recent budget testimony) are used to justify equally excessive spending sprees in Pennsylvania.
