Few districts make tax-hike vow

The Morning Call reports on how the overwhelming majority of school districts will likely be raising taxes above the already generous spending index included in Act 1 of 2006.

Most districts will be able to exceed these so-called limits without asking the taxpayers for permission becuase they will utilize one of the many loopholes in the law.

Districts will get approval for these exemptions from the courts and the Department of Education.

Now would be the time for us to say...."WE TOLD YOU SO!"
