What about those with spending problems?

The Post-Gazette reports that the hotline for problem gamblers has now opened. The irony of legalizing gambling to (in part) fund services for problem gamblers isn't lost on me, but did give me a new idea ...

What we really need is a program (taxpayer funded) to help those who are addicted to spending taxpayer dollars. Anytime the Governor or a lawmaker comes up with a new idea for wasting money, they can call the hotline and a counselor can talk them down from a spending binge.
