Posh dorms become the norm

AP story on the posh living quarters and lifestyles of today's college students. As the alma mater is featured (and I must admit, I had quite the bachelor pad my senior year), I thought it worth a post.

I particulary enjoy this quote on the upscale dorms -- “It makes the $40,000 tuition worth it." Really? Not the quality of the academics? Not the value of a degree? Great dorms and maid services are the reason to go to college?

One of the many topics Richard Vedder takes on in analyzing why college costs so much.
