Court says auditor general cannot be made to review Legislature

So much for the Auditor General being the taxpayers' watchdog!

According to the AP:

"A state court on Monday rejected a lawsuit by a citizen who wanted the
state auditor general to review the Legislature's finances.

"Neither the state Constitution nor state law authorizes the auditor
general, an officer of the executive branch, to audit the legislative branch,
the Commonwealth Court said in rejecting a lawsuit filed by citizen activist
Gene Stilp."

Governor, you have got to be kidding me! Who is the real price gouger? Please tell me, Sir, why is it that BIG GOVERNMENT doesn't confess to being the biggest "gouger" of the people's money? Why does BIG GOVERNMENT have to get 69 cents out of every gallon of fuel and the oil companies only 7 cents? You want the President to have an investigation into the "gouging" of oil companies? WHY DON'T WE HAVE AN INVESTIGATION INTO BIG GOVERNMENT ROBBERY?

Sir, I ask again, who is the real culprit when it comes to "price gouging?"

WELL IF YOU DON'T KNOW YET I'LL TELL YOU. IT'S YOU AND YOUR GOVERNMENT CRONIES WHO ARE THE REAL ENEMY FOR HIGH FUEL PRICES, not to mention the barrel price at an all-time high!! Do you think the oil companies are manhandling OPEC to keep the barrel price high? There’s no way that could be true!

THINK OF IT, BIG GOVERNMENT GETS 69 CENTS, THE OIL COMPANIES GET A MEAGER 7 CENTS. *

GOVERNMENT---- SIXTY-NINE CENTS

OIL COMPANIES----SEVEN CENTS

You say you want an extra tax on the oil companies. So what you’re saying is government should benefit itself even further! You’re saying that instead of government receiving a whopping sixty-nine cents on every gallon of fuel it should award itself another three cents making the ratio that much worse.

So instead of a ratio of sixty-nine to seven, you’re asking the President to make it

GOVERNMENT----SEVENTY-TWO

OIL COMPANIES----FOUR..

Oh I know you’re telling us you’ll give the tax back to us but you and I both know that won’t happen, don’t we Governor? You know I’m right, especially if I’m not living in Philadelphia or Pittsburgh, right?
