Minimum wage push continues

From The Morning Call Online:

"Kate Philips, Rendell's spokeswoman, said the administration is grateful the bill emerged from the committee, but that $6.25 ''barely keeps us competitive'' with surrounding states."

Maybe being "competitive" in terms of imposing the highest mandatory business costs shouldn't be our top priority.

Is that a joke? PA has become the corporate welfare state with implementing the KOZ program which is abused phenomenally to the benefit of the corporations and the mayor's of the cities who accept political contributions from them.
