Ballooning Pa. pension costs could increase taxes substantially

Excellent story on the looming pension crisis by Alison Hawkes in The Herald-Standard.

But Rep. Mark Mustio points out the bigger problem: "It's not like the system's going to collapse. Because you can go out and collect from the taxpayers."

Get ready folks, once this election season is over and the reality of all of the liabilities from public pensions to welfare to debt are considered, the 2007 budget season will be a doozy!
