Rendell to propose business tax cuts

Attempting to reshape himself as a "pro-business" Democrat after 3 years of punishing job creators, Gov. Rendell gave a sneak peek into next week's budget address. Remember, this is after he VETOED a minimum cut in personal income taxes (from 3.07 to 3.05) and a streamlined Corporate Net Income tax.

I realize it's a poor barometer for things, but the Dems in my office haven't been happy with Rendell for years.

How this translates remains to be seen.

Swann really needs to have a firm platform to energize the disenchanted voter.
